Based in northern Italy, Agarthic was founded in 2019 by composer and bassist Mattia Gosetti and singer Valeriano De Zordo. The two musicians, linked by a strong friendship, had already worked together several times in recent years, but above all just a few shows and theatrical performances and never a real group.

As a big fan of rock and metal music, I have always followed the release of label albums with great enthusiasm. I remember reading album booklets as a kid, dreaming of seeing my name imprinted on one of these someday… who ever imagined that would happen with one of the most important labels today?», Explains singer Valeriano De Zordo. “For several years now, I have been really interested in all the legends and ancient mysteries about the forgotten history of our planet, especially the theories about the hollow earth. I have always been fascinated by it. And when this chance to make an album offered itself, the task was quite easy… all I had to do was combine my two great passions and finally transform all these themes into music!», Continues De Zordo.

Adds composer and bassist Mattia Gosetti, “My biggest passion is writing musical stories, creating soundtracks for romantic adventures and fascinating places. I’m really proud to have been noticed by a successful label like Frontiers Music, whose roster includes many of the most famous bands in the world. The enthusiasm for the signing of the contract and the collaboration with Aldo Lonobile, an artist whom I have always esteemed and admired, was fundamental for the realization of this concept of symphonic metal. I am experiencing artistic growth that I never could have hoped for and I will never be grateful enough for it all. “

Valeriano has been active in several groups in the Belluno region, singing both covers and original music, which has earned him recognition thanks to his melodic timbre and great ability as a performer.

Mattia is a composer of symphonic rock, with his works mainly dedicated to the history of lands located on the Alps, musical tales that he often presents in theater sets. His deep passion for symphonic rock has always been apparent, but especially when he and his wife won the “Elan Cover Contest”, an international competition hosted by Nightwish.

The group’s formation is completed by two other talented Italian musicians, Jesai Fiabane on guitar and Denis Novello on drums.

Agarthic’s music is strongly inspired by the nature that surrounds them, especially the Dolomites, a mountain range in Italy. Their compositions tell stories of fantasy and mysteries of humanity, a romantic and enveloping soundtrack that will take you on an exciting journey of cinematic flavors.
