TIsha Flowers isn’t evil, that’s just how she looks. Her drag character is the goth queen she always wanted to be when she was young. As someone who enjoys the macabre and horror, she embraces all that is dark and has made it her signature, even when it comes to her name. “I always wanted to be Morticia Addams when I grew up. I thought she was so beautiful and stylish, so when I chose a drag name I naturally thought of her, ”she recalls. Read on to find out what makes her the Dark Lady of Houston.

How did you get interested in drag?
I started flirting because at the bar I used to go to in Beaumont, [drag shows didn’t use] rock or even pop type music. It was all old-fashioned dress numbers and stuff queens had been doing for years. I wanted to shake things up a bit for my friends, and I think so!

Not only does it contain the best memories of my childhood, but my favorite vacation is Samhain.

Describe your flirting style.
It varies depending on the club or event I work in and the audience. I like being able to play hard rock and metal, but it’s not for everyone. So most of the time I try to bring a mix of ’90s pop, Top 40, and sometimes a little comedy to my shows. I always try to bring a show that will please the crowd no matter what.

Get back to dragging full time and fully supporting me with my shows.
