The place redesigned with Meyer Sound System is a musical destination
Grass Valley, California – The Allman Betts Band took the stage last night to a sold-out and enthusiastic crowd at The Arts Center in Grass Valley. Endless smiles and youthful energy filled the hall as fans celebrated the music and the return of live entertainment.
The Allman Betts group excels at carrying on the musical traditions of the beloved Allman brothers while continuing to move forward on their own musical journey. A nod to the past while creating something new is an approach that seems to work well depending on the reception the group has received by those present.

The addition of the evening began with River kittens, an entertaining St. Louis-based folk duo of Allie Vogler and Mattie Schell that serves up impressive harmonies with clever composition. The next one was a famous guitarist Marc Ford (Black Crowes) which serves a blues and rock ensemble inspired and steeped in sound.

The Arts Center
Known for its long-standing appreciation of the arts, the Sierra Nevada foothills community of Grass Valley has struck one out of the park with a place reinvented. The Arts Center has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover that caters to both fans and musicians.
The lobby is a beautifully designed mini art gallery that includes a bar where fans can grab a pre-show libation and chat. A super friendly group of volunteers help support the effort and the staff.
For music lovers, the showcase is the concert hall with a capacity of several hundred. A preview of the Meyer Sound System plate lets fans know that the Center for the Arts is aiming for top performers and superior sound quality.
The comfortable seats in the stadium offer a breathtaking view of the stage and the large dance floor below.
The remodel also includes some impressive updates to the new green room for artists. Expect to see more top performers looking for an intimate setting adding Grass Valley to their tour dates.
The Center for the Arts is located at 314 W. Main St. in Grass Valley, California.

It’s also a perfect nighttime getaway in downtown Grass Valley, less than an hour from most points in South Placer County. See the schedule to come
