Quiet Riot recently announced that bassist Rudy Sarzo will officially join the band’s ranks and tonight (November 6) is the first show at Groove Music Hall in Woodford, Virginia. Check out the new group photo above!

Quiet Riot welcomed Sarzo to the group after an 18-year absence. Rudy is looking forward to recording and touring with Quiet Riot starting November 6th.

Quiet Riot continues its historic journey according to the wishes of Frankie Banali, who died in 2020, and of the Banali estate. The band continues to perform live with the lineup of Quiet Riot guitarist Alex Grossi, vocalist Jizzy Pearl, and in place of Frankie Banali behind the drums is Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative.

2022 marks Quiet Riot’s 40th anniversary, with Rudy Sarzo recording Metal Health’s flagship album, which has sold over 10 million copies and spawned the hits “Cum On Feel The Noize” and ” Metal Health “, and on the follow-up record the critical condition. Sarzo appeared in the most notable music videos of the MTV era and toured with the group until 1985 and again from 1997 to 2003. During his years outside the group, Rudy Sarzo was a member of Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Dio, Blue Öyster Cult, Queensrÿche and The Guess Who.
