Megadeth and Lamb Of God Bring New Jersey Heat With “The Metal Tour Of The Year”

Megadeth and Lamb Of God are bringing the heat with their epic metal tour!

The metal giants have brought their Metal tour of the year at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on September 15 for an unforgettable evening of hard rock fun. The tour, originally scheduled for summer 2019, marked the return of Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, who took a brief hiatus to fight throat cancer. And after a disappointing 2020, the highly anticipated tour finally kicked off in Austin, Texas in August, bringing together some of the biggest names in metal music.

Trivium and Hatebreed joined the metal giants on the trek. In Flame was supposed to serve as a support for the trek, however due to international visa issues they were unable to participate and Hatebreed took their place on the tour.

Welcoming concert goers to BB&T with their punchy music, Hatebreed kicked off the evening to the delight of a large crowd of metal fans. Next taking command of the stage, Trivium brought a string of energetic radio hits that put fans in a state of frenzy.

Standing behind a black curtain with their shiny signature logo, Lamb of God started their set with their slow song, “Memento Mori”. With growing anticipation for nearly 2 minutes, the curtain fell over an explosion cursing the group until an eruption of cheers. The band then performed several of their hit songs for an hour-long set and delighted fans with an incredible set filled with pyro.

The incredible evening was brought to a close by the legendary metal band Megadeth. Performing with intense focus, the band thrilled fans to hits such as “Symphony of Destruction”, “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due” and more. Even though Mustaine’s voice seemed blurry at times, the crowd never gave up on Megadeth and found their place as she walked through the night.

The tour has managed to give metal fans what they have been waiting for for over a year. An evening with their favorite metal bands in a concert that overcame obstacles.
