Seasonal Sounds Featured at Multiple Holiday Music Events | Music

Frankie Scinta is heading home for a pair of holiday concerts in the Bear’s Den showroom at Seneca Niagara Casino.

Judging by how the first holiday songs are starting to appear on local radio stations, we can never get enough of seasonal music. This is also true with live music events because again this year there are plenty of concerts to enjoy, whether you love your holiday traditional, classical, rock music or prefer to join the singers.

Concert of the Festivities of Saint Rose of Lima. 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at St. Rose (500 Parker Ave.). The free concert features an exceptionally talented trio of vocalist Kenny Thomasula (Junction West), BPO lead cellist Roman Mekinulov, and musician and songwriter Ken Kaufman. Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be baskets, auctions and refreshments.

Handel Messiah. 7:30 p.m. on November 28. Our Lady of Victory Basilica (767 Ridge Road, Lackawanna) and 2:30 p.m. on December 5. St. Mary’s Swormville (6919 Transit Road, East Amherst). Holiday tradition, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus perform this musical masterpiece in the most beautiful setting. $ 25 to $ 50 (bpchorus.org, 980-5701).

Cami Clune and Vitamin D3 Holiday Show. 8 p.m. December 3 at Seneca Niagara Casino & Resort, Niagara Falls. Enjoy the sounds of the season with the Buffalo native who appeared in season 19 of “The Voice”. $ 25 to $ 35.
