The Internet, as we know, is an infinite reservoir of knowledge; need to know how long it takes to bake an apple strudel? Google is your man. Are you trying to solve a complex mathematical equation but have forgotten everything you know about the Pythagorean theorem? Same deal. Really, though, we all know the real use of the internet, and that is to search for videos of adorable cats doing adorable things. And of course, listen to our favorite bands, like Iron Maiden.
Now there’s a TikTok video that features a compilation of our furry friends crawling, nodding and walking around Iron Maiden’s 1984 Powerslave anthem The Duelist.
Even better, there’s actually a whole account dedicated to this wonderful union of cats and metal. There are dancing cats The soldier, afraid of the dark and more. And if Iron Maiden isn’t your bag, then there’s even a dancing cat on System Of A Down ChopSuey. Adorable stuff.
Iron Maiden are currently on the European leg of their The Legacy of the Beast round. They will cross the pond for the next segment of the trek on August 30, playing in Brazil, before heading to the United States on September 11.
As part of their ongoing tour across Europe, Iron Maiden recently launched their own train, on which fans traveled from Stockholm to catch British band NWBHM’s show in Gothenburg on July 22.
Named ‘Train 666’, the vehicle was an X74 model 74004, decked out in Iron Maiden badges and packed with limited-edition Maiden merchandise for 244 lucky passengers, launched in collaboration between MTRX and Warner Music.
But enough of that. Having cats:
