A year after the death of founder Michael Gudinski, Australian band Mushroom’s live music business, Frontier Touring, has announced a new management structure, which sees COO Dion Brant promoted to CEO.
Additionally, Susan Heymann becomes COO, Reegan Stark becomes Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Andrew Spencer is promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.
They will report to the Frontier Touring Board of Directors, which includes executives from AEG Presents, with whom Frontier formed a joint venture in 2019. AEG Presents Asia Pacific CEO Adam Wilkes also becomes President of Frontier Touring.
In a statement, the company says: “The new structure was created to ensure that Frontier’s legacy, mission and culture are preserved and nurtured following the passing of its founder Michael Gudinski in March 2021.”
Current CEO of parent company Mushroom Group, Matt Gudinski, adds, “I couldn’t be happier to announce our new Frontier leadership team. Mushroom Group relies on our excellent people, which we have always valued above all else. I am thrilled that the advancement of Frontier is being led by four incredibly dedicated, experienced and strong leaders namely Dion, Reegan, Susan and Spence, working closely with myself, Adam and the AEG Presents team”.
