October 17, 2022

German thrash metal band Holy Moses have signed an album deal with new label Fireflash Records, a sub-label of Atomic Fire Records, revealing the development on October 17, 2022.

Frontwoman Sabina Classen commented, “I am totally thrilled and happy that we have found a new label for Holy Moses through our old friend and companion Wossi, who started Fireflash Records for us with the full infrastructure of Atomic Fire Records. Wossi has always been a fan of Holy Moses and put his love for music into an incredible and successful way, so I look forward to the collaboration between Holy Moses and Fireflash Records.

Markus Wosgien, owner and founder of Fireflash Records, added: “With the opportunity to sign and work with one of my favorite bands of all time, Holy Moses, the idea of running my own label, in addition to ‘Atomic Fire, has come true. I still remember when I was 13, standing in our local record store with The new machine from Liechtenstein album (1989) in my hands, one of the first records I ever bought. This extreme and unique mix was out of this world, I was totally addicted and became an unconditional fan of the band; and I couldn’t be prouder of Sabina and the band’s confidence in writing this next chapter together.

The line-up of Holy Moses is as follows:

Sabina Classen (vocals)
Peter Geltat – guitars
Thomas Neitsch (bass)
Gerd Lücking (drums)

Holy Moses’ 13th studio album is set to be released in 2023. “In 2022/2023 we will define a new chapter in our band’s history,” explained Sabina Classen. “The band have been growing together as a very strong team for over 10 years now. The new album, due out in 2023, is currently being mixed and will show that Holy Moses continues to be a force to be reckoned with. We can’t reveal much more at this time, but expect more news to come soon!”

Twelfth studio recording Chaos redefined was released in April 2014 via Steamhammer/SPV.
