Megadeath, Lamb of God on tour in Omaha; Alice Cooper arrives at Ralston | national news


Grammy-winning heavy metal band Megadeath and Grammy-nominated band Lamb of God will be coming to Omaha in April.

The bands will perform their “Metal Tour of the Year” show at Baxter Arena on April 26. The show will also feature performances by special guest bands Trivium and In Flames. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at metaltouroftheyear.com.

The tour was originally scheduled for 2020 but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Having sold over 38 million albums worldwide, Megadeath boasts 12 Grammy nominations and a 2017 win for Best Metal Performance. The band are set to release their 16th studio album “The Sick, The Dying…And The Dead” this spring.

Also announced this week: Alice Cooper will bring her spring tour to Liberty First Credit Union Arena (formerly Ralston Arena) on April 4.

Joining Cooper on his April 4 performance will be rock band Buckcherry. Tickets are on sale now at ralstonarenatickets.evenue.net or alicecooper.com.
