Nandi Bushell and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders recorded a “jam” together, the young musician revealed.
The 11-year-old drummer became a viral sensation after posting a video of herself covering Nirvana’s “In Bloom” in November 2019.
Since then, she has engaged in a drum battle with Dave Grohl and received accolades from Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood and more.
Now Helders has visited Bushell at her home to record what the child star has described as “jam” together. Bushell shared a video on his Instagram Story yesterday (June 25) telling his followers about his plans for the next day.

Today she shared a video of Helders leaving her house. “Thanks for coming, I had so much fun,” she told the Arctic Monkeys drummer, who thanked her for the drumsticks in her hands. âToday was EPIC,â she captioned one of the videos. She also promised: “Interview and Jam with @matthelders coming soon !!!”
The couple’s apparent collaboration follows Bushell’s cover of Arctic Monkeys’ single Brianstorm in 2007 last year.

Meanwhile, the 11-year-old musician shared a cover of Linkin Park’s “Numb” earlier this month (June 13). She said she had just discovered the nu-metal band that week. “So many beautiful songs!” she added. “So, it’s # numétal!” I like the keyboards and the scratch of the DJ.
â#Chesterbennington had such an amazing voice. He sang with real #power.
Shortly after posting the cover, her tweet containing a snippet was retweeted by Linkin Park’s official Twitter page with the caption: “Wow, that’s awesome.”
