Texas Band Glassing releases devastating and chaotic single “Sulk”

Frenetic Blackened band Sludge Glassing have released a new single and video for “Sulk”, the first single from their upcoming EP, say and sulk and it’s a hell of a trail.

With razor-sharp guitars and a punchy rhythm section, it’s a wildly chaotic single that would feel right at home with Dillinger Escape Plan, Deafheaven and Oathbreaker. say and sulk is the band’s first release with drummer Scott Osment (Deaf Club, Weak Flesh).

In addition to the upcoming EP, a special repressing of the band’s 2021 album twin dream is now on sale through Brutal Panda. Featuring an alternate cover art, the limited edition is made in honor of Mike Lara, who passed away in July. Her business partner Bob Lugowe said the loss was staggering since Lara’s death

“Mike was truly a one-of-a-kind individual who had an infectious laugh, impeccable musical taste and a deep passion for helping his favorite bands spread their music to the world…I’m so proud of everything we accomplished together as a label, but mostly for the amazing friendship we had. I love you, Mike, it’s been one hell of a journey.

say and sulk is slated for digital release via Brutal Panda Records on August 26, with physical copies slated for a November 5 launch via Medication Time. You can pre-order either version today.

Starting next week, Glassing will also hit the road, with select dates featuring Pelican, Chat Pile, Meth, Dreamwell and more. You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
