The Darkness announces North American tour in 2022

The Darkness will return to North America for a series of concerts in March, the group announced.

Support will come from The Dead Dead.

Comments from Justin Hawkins of The Darkness:

“You over there in the Americas, listen to me and listen to me well: Darkness knows your pain, know that you fell asleep crying every night, deprived of quality English rock music. Well stop crying and pull up your adult pants – salvation is upon you! As physicians we UNDERSTAND the healing power of rock music and have asked our servants to arrange for us to visit your moderately remote shores. The cryogenically sealed Tupperware roadie box has been set to “Thor” and the mighty winged tank has been dusted off. Remember – a sweat lick of Darkness and you will be healed – you will literally walk again, without Covid or anything! But what price is freedom and eternal life, I hear you asking? To you sir, around thirty dollars (plus local taxes and reservation fees). Now get the hell out of it! “
