He has sold over 70 million records in the United States alone.

Outside of music, The Weeknd has embarked on a variety of business ventures. This includes collaborations with various companies as well as the launch of his own personal brand, “XO”.

He has won three Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, 19 Billboard Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, 15 Juno Awards, and one Oscar nomination during his career.

When is The Weeknd releasing new music?

The Weeknd has set January 7 as the release date for their new album Dawn FM.

The album, whose cover depicts him as an old man, is set to arrive this week, featuring collaborations from Tyler the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never and actor Jim Carrey.

The Weeknd broke the news on their Instagram on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, after teasing fans on social media with clues as to what was to come on the album.

While no songlist for the album has yet been released, fans have already started guessing who might be featured.

Following the release of Poison, a collaboration with late R&B singer Aaliyah, the song is likely to be included on the album.
