What to do in Atlanta this weekend: April 22-24, 2022


Take a self-guided tour of some of Inman Park’s beautiful historic homes, then enjoy the food, music, kids’ zone, arts and crafts show, and festival street market on Saturdays and on Sunday. A parade featuring some of Atlanta’s wild and eccentric bands begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Light up 2022

7:30-9:30 p.m. from Friday April 22 to Sunday April 24, plus additional dates. Adults $20 in advance, $25 at the door; students, children and seniors 65 and over $15 in advance and $20 at the door, plus taxes and fees. Children 3 and under are free. Take a self-guided tour of Oakland Cemetery after dark with artistically lit headstones, mausoleums, flowers, trees, and buildings. The focus will be on the recently restored historic African-American burial sites and the women’s comfort station at the cemetery. Live music, craft cocktails and a pop-up Oakland boutique will also be featured.

Bruch and Beethoven

Concertmaster David Coucheron performs Bruch’s “Scottish Fantasy” on the violin with the addition of harp solos. Beethoven’s third symphony, “Eroica”, is also on the programme.

Cobb

Spring Daffodil Festival

Cobb County Public Library Book Sale
